Preheat electric skillet to 250 degrees.
Lightly season inside slit of each chop with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Place a slice of cheese and ham inside each slit.
Close each opening with two toothpicks.
Dip chops in egg, moistening edges well.
Then dip in bread crumbs, pressing firmly around edges.
Add 3 tablespoons olive oil to skillet.
Brown both sides of each chop.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and a little paprika, if desired.
Cover and cook, turning only once, until pork is cooked through.
Total time will vary depending upon thickness of chops.
