Barbecued Spicy Pork Chops

Ingredients
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Pork loin chops 6 , trimmed of excess fat
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), minced
  Canned no salt added tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Cider vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 6 Tablespoon (1/4 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Dry mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oven to 350°F.
Heat Oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Saute pork chops until lightly browned.
Remove chops from skillet.
Place in 11 X 7-inch baking dish in single layer.
Set aside.
Add onion and garlic to skillet.
Cook over medium heat until soft.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Pour sauce over chops.
Turn to coat.
Cover.
Bake at 350°F for 45 to 60 minutes or until chops are tender.
Microwave Directions:
Combine Oil, onion, and garlic in 11 X 7-inch microwave-safe dish.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave on High 3 minutes.
Stir after 1 minute, 30 seconds.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir well.
Place uncooked chops in sauce.
Turn to coat.
Cover.
Microwave on High 16 minutes.
Turn dish every 4 minutes.
Rearrange chops after 8 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes, covered, before serving.
