Roast Pork Party Style

Ingredients
  Loin pork 1 1⁄2 Kilogram
  Onion slice 5
  Apple slice 3 , cut in half
  Sage 1 Milliliter (1/4 Teaspoon)
  Condensed cream of chicken soup 1 Can (10 oz) (1 Can)
  Madeira/Sherry 50 Milliliter
  Water 125 Milliliter
Directions

Make 6 slits almost to bone in pork loin.
Place a slice of onion and 1/2 slice apple in each slit.
Rub roast with sage; tie securely.
Roast fat side up at 160°C (325°F) for 2 hours; pour off fat.
Combine soup and Madeira; pour over meat.
Roast 30 minutes more or until done, baste often with soup (total roasting time 35 to 40 minutes per 500 g (pound).
Remove meat from pan.
On top of range, in roasting pan, add water to soup.
Heat, stirring to loosen browned bits; serve with roast.
