Golden Pork Loin
|Pork loin rib roast||4 Pound|
|Condensed golden mushroom soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bay leaf||1 Medium|
|Carrots||6 Medium, cut in 2-inch pieces|
|Potatoes||4 Medium, cut in half|
In large heavy pan, brown meat in shortening; pour off fat.
Add soup, water, onion, and seasonings.
Cover; cook over low heat 1 hour 15 minutes.
Add carrots and potatoes.
Cook 1 hour more or until meat and vegetables are done.
Remove bay leaf.
Thicken sauce if desired.
