Chili Pork Patties
|Lean ground pork||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped shallots||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry white wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine pork, shallots, chili powder, and mustard.
Shape into 6 patties.
Heat oil in large skillet.
Add patties to hot oil.
Brown slowly on both sides on low heat, about 10 minutes.
Add white wine, cover, and simmer 15 minutes (make certain that the pork is thoroughly cooked).
Reduce wine, season with salt and pepper, and pour over patties.
