Spicy Eggs With Pork
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Shallots/Garlic cloves||4 , minced|
|Ground pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Rice wine/Dry sherry||1 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Five spice powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Hard-cooked eggs||6 , peeled|
Heat oil in a wok over medium heat 1 minute.
Stir-fry shallots or garlic until golden.
Add ground pork.
Stir-fry until pork is no longer pink.
Stir in wine and soy sauce.
Stir-fry 4 to 5 minutes.
Add water, sugar and five-spice powder.
Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
Add whole hard-cooked eggs.
Cook 30 minutes, turning eggs once.
