Golden Glazed Ribs
|Pork loin back ribs||4 Pound, cut into serving size pieces|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1 Teaspoon|
Place ribs in large saucepan or Dutch oven; cover with salted water.
Cover and simmer till ribs are tender, about 1 hour.
Drain well and season ribs with a little salt and pepper.
While ribs are cooking, prepare the glaze by combining water, brown sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, ginger, and salt.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into blender container; cover and blend till smooth.
Brush over ribs.
Place ribs on grill over medium slow coals for 20 to 30 minutes.
Turn once or twice and brush occasionally with glaze.
