Sweet And Sour Pork Chops

Sweet and sour pork chops are savory roasted pork chops. Skillet and oven cooked, the sweet and sour pork chops are flavored with brown sugar with added pineapple syrup, soy sauce and chicken bouillon. Finished in theoven, it is served makes a full meal with rice.
  Pork chops 6 , center cut
  Vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice concentrate 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Chicken flavor instant bouillon/1 chicken-flavor bouillon cube 1 Teaspoon
  Canned pineapple chunks in heavy syrup 20 Ounce, drained, reserve syrup (1 Can)
  Sliced carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green pepper rings 1

Preheat oven to 350°.
In large Ovenproof skillet, brown chops in oil, Remove chops from skillet; pour off fat.
In skillet, combine ReaLemon® brand and cornstarch; mix well.
Add sugar, onion, soy sauce, bouillon and reserved syrup; cook and stir Until slightly thickened and bouillon ip dissolved.
Add pork chops and carrots.
Cover; bake 1 hour or until tender.
Add pineapple; cover and bake 10 minutes longer.
Garnish with green pepper; serve with rice if desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.
