Sweet And Sour Pork Chops
|Pork chops||6 , center cut|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice concentrate||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Chicken flavor instant bouillon/1 chicken-flavor bouillon cube||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned pineapple chunks in heavy syrup||20 Ounce, drained, reserve syrup (1 Can)|
|Sliced carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green pepper rings||1|
Preheat oven to 350°.
In large Ovenproof skillet, brown chops in oil, Remove chops from skillet; pour off fat.
In skillet, combine ReaLemon® brand and cornstarch; mix well.
Add sugar, onion, soy sauce, bouillon and reserved syrup; cook and stir Until slightly thickened and bouillon ip dissolved.
Add pork chops and carrots.
Cover; bake 1 hour or until tender.
Add pineapple; cover and bake 10 minutes longer.
Garnish with green pepper; serve with rice if desired.
