Sweet And Sour Pork has a defining taste. Sweet And Sour Pork gets its taste from boneless pork mixed with eggs and soy sauce. Sweet And Sour Pork is inspired by many restaurants across the world.
  Lean boneless pork 3⁄4 Pound
  Prunelle 6 Ounce (1 Small Glass)
  Fat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Light beer 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Oil 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Peanut oil 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Green pepper 1 , cut into small pieces
  Carrot 1 , cut in julienne strips
  Chicken broth 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Honey/Use 3 tablespoons sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Red wine vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Crystallized ginger 1 , minced
  Crystallized ginger piece 1 , minced
  Cocktail onions 5
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon

Cut pork into bite sized pieces.
Marinate several hours in a mixture of prunelle, soy sauce and salt.
For batter, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and beat until smooth.
Let rest 30 minutes.
For sauce, heat oil in saucepan or skillet; add the garlic and cook 1/2 minute.
Then add the green pepper and carrot and saute about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in a mixture of the broth, honey (or sugar), soy sauce, wine vinegar and minced ginger.
Simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
Add onions (if used).
Thicken sauce with cornstarch mixed with several tablespoons cold water.
When ready to serve, dip pieces of pork in batter and deep fry in hot fat until golden.
