  Cooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped pimiento 1 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Oregano 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cooked bacon slice 6 , drained and crumbled
  Pork chops 6 , smoked (Thick Ones)
  Salad oil/Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Mix together the rice, raisins, green pepper, vinegar, pimiento, oregano, and bacon.
Stuff each chop (do not pack); close with short skewers or wooden picks and lace with string.
Brown chops on both sides in the butter or oil; add the water, cover, and simmer about 30 minutes, or until tender.
