Braised Pork Chops
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lean pork chops||2|
Trim excess fat from 2 lean pork chops and use to lightly grease hot heavy skillet.
Brown chops on both sides, allowing about 5 min. for each side.
Add 1/4 cup water; cover tightly.
Cook slowly on top of range or bake in 350° (mod.) oven until tender and well done.
Season with salt and pepper.
