|Ham/Pork loin roast||1|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry white wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cut slits in meat with a sharp knife and add slivers of garlic.
Rub meat with salt and pepper and lemon juice.
Brown in a hot 450 degree oven.
Add a little water and skim off fat.
Lower oven to moderate, 350 degrees, and add white wine.
Bake until meat is well done, allowing total baking time of 45 minutes per pound of meat.
Add additional water for gravy if necessary.
