Pork Hot Pot
|Lean pork||2 Pound|
|Dried sage||1 Teaspoon (Or Chopped)|
|Stock/Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (To Cover)|
Peel the potato, slice fairly thickly and place in the bottom of a casserole.
Cut the meat into decent sized pieces, and arrange in layers with sliced apple and onion, and a sprinkling of sage and seasoning between the layers.
Just cover with stock or water.
Place a lid on the casserole, and allow 2 hours in a slow to moderate oven.
This is very good with haricot beans or braised celery to accompany the dish.
