Beef And Pork With Bean Sprouts
|Beef||1⁄2 Pound, finely chopped (Chuck Or Round)|
|Pork||1⁄2 Pound, finely chopped (Butt Or Shoulder)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), grated|
|Grated ginger root||1 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Green beans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut into 1 inch pieces|
|Mushrooms||1⁄4 Pound, sliced in t shapes|
|Bean sprouts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||1⁄2 Tablespoon, mixed in 0.5 cup chicken or beef broth|
|Chicken broth/Beef broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Marinate beef and pork in combined soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and gingerroot 20 to 30 minutes.
Heat oil in wok or skillet.
Stir-fry beans 2 to 3 minutes; push up to sides.
Stir-fry mushrooms 2 to 3 minutes; push up to sides.
Additional vegetable oil may be needed.
Stir-fry sprouts 1 to 2 minutes; push up to sides.
Stir-fry beef and pork 3 to 4 minutes, until well done.
Return vegetables to meat in center of pan.
Add cornstarch mixture; heat until sauce is thickened and clear.
