Pork Chops And Lima
|Pork chops||4 , cut into 1 inch thick|
|Cooked lima beans||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Canned tomatoes||19 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dark molasses||2 Tablespoon|
Brown chops in fat in a skillet.
While chops are browning, turn lima beans into a shallow 2-qt.
casserole or baking dish.
Sieve tomatoes and add to the casserole along with onion, molasses, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Season chops with remaining salt and the pepper.
Arrange chops over lima bean mixture.
Bake at 350°F 1 hour, or until meat is tender.
