Slow Cooker Ribs
|Lean pork spareribs||4 Pound (2 Kilogram)|
|Sweet and sour sauce||500 Milliliter (2 Cup)|
|Onion||1 Small, thinly sliced|
|Celery stalks||2 , thinly sliced|
|Mandarin orange sections||1 Can (10 oz), drained|
Cut spareribs into serving size pieces.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place on rack in a shallow pan and bake at 400F (200C) for 20 minutes.
Place ribs in electric slow cooker and pour on Sweet and Sour Sauce (see below).
Cover and cook on "low" for 6 to 8 hours.
Stir in onion, celery and orange sections.
Cover and cook on "high" for 10 to 15 minutes.
