Pommes Flambees Au Calvados
|Cooking apples||12 Small|
|Butter||50 Gram, melted (2 Ounce)|
|Castor sugar||50 Gram (2 Ounce)|
1. Peel and core the apples, plunging them into a basin of salted water to prevent discoloration.
2. Dry the apples, then pour a little cooled melted butter into the palm of your hand and rub it all over them. Stand them in a greased baking dish and sprinkle the sugar over. Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes.
3. Bring the apples to the table, sprinkle the Calvados over, stand well back and set alight. Serve immediately.
