  Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Chickpea flour 1 Teaspoon
  Ajwain seeds 1 Teaspoon

Mustard oil 2 Cup (32 tbs), for frying
Onion 1 , cut into slices
Tomato 1 , cut into slices
  Chaat masala 1 Pinch

1 Clean the fish thoroughly and score it as shown in the video. This will allow the marinade to absorb well in the fish.
2 In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients except the rice flour.
3 Add in the lime juice and mix well.
4 Add in the egg and mix well to incorporate it completely into the mixture.
5 Gradually stir in half the rice flour mixing well to combine.
6 The marinade is ready, spread it evenly on top of the fish and also on the inside to make it really flavorful.
7 Place the prepared fish in the refrigerator for an hour.

8 In a wide skillet, heat mustard oil.
9 Lightly coat the fish with the remaining rice flour.
10 Shake off the excessive flour.
11 Carefully place the fish in the pan and let it cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
12 Flip the fish carefully to cook on the other side.
13 Cook the fish on the other side until golden brown.

14 Transfer the fish to a serving dish and serve it on a bed of sliced onions and tomatoes.
