Spiced Purple Plum

The spiced purple plum is a gelatin and blue plum mold. Spiced with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, this spiced purple plum is sweet to taste and may be served at the end of the meal or as a side with heavier courses. I love to serve this with meats.
Ingredients
  Canned plums 1 9⁄50 Pound (One 1 Pound 3 Ounce Can)
  Plum juice 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Cherry gelatin 3 Ounce (1 Package)
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Drain plums and reserve juice.
Add sufficient water to juice to make .1 3/4 cups of liquid.
Heat 1 cup of plum liquid to boiling point, add cherry flavored gelatin and dissolve.
Add remaining liquid.
Chill until mixture thickens.
Pit plums and puree in blender.
Pour pureed plums into gelatin and add cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg Pour into mold and chill until firm.
This may be served as a salad; or, as a side dish with a meat course.
