Wild Plum Delight

Ingredients
  Ripe plums 1 Quart
  Coffee cream 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Almond extract 1 Teaspoon
Directions

"Cook plums in 2 cups water until skins split; remove from heat.
Drain plums; remove pits.
Combine plum pulp, cream, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; cook over medium heat until thick.
Remove from heat; add almond extract.
Spool into 8 sherbet glasses; chill.
Top with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired."
