|Satsuma plums water||30 Milliliter|
Wash fruit, removing stalks.
Cut up into pieces, discarding pips.
Cover with water, boil well till juice is extracted, then strain.
For every 3 cups juice allow 11/2 cups sugar, and boil juice and sugar together for 5 minutes.
Bottle and keep in the refrigerator.
To serve: fill glasses half-full with the plum syrup, then fill up with chilled milk, stirring •well.
The milk will curdle, but the plum drink will be delicious.
