Creamy Plum Dessert

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Eggs 3 (Separated)
  Canned plums 16 Ounce, cut in 1/2-inch pieces (Drained, Pitted)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Almond extract 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

1. In a 2-quart glass bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually add milk, stirring until completely smooth. Microwave, uncovered, at Cook Cycle 1 (power level 7) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until bubbly and thickened, stirring 3 times. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks with about 2/3 cup of the hot pudding mixture. Quickly stir warmed egg yolks into bowl containing remaining pudding. Microwave, uncovered, at Cook Cycle 2 (power level 7) for 2 minutes, or until mixture thickens enough to coat a spoon stirring every minute. Fold in plums and extracts. Let cool slightly.
