Dont make the tough decision on wether or not to have pizza or tacos for supper, have both. This recipe will be a family favorite, with the delicious combinations of all the staples on a taco, then placed on a pizza pie!
Pizza dough | 1 | |
Yellow corn meal | 1 Tablespoon
Black bean | 1 Can (10 oz) | |
Taco seasoning | 1 1/4 Ounce (1 Package)
Mexican cheese blend | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Roma tomatoes | 3 , chopped
Lettuce | 4 Ounce , chopped
Sour cream | 4 Ounce | |
Hot sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
Chopped cilantro | 1 Tablespoon
Tortilla chips | 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Lime | 1 , juiced |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Roll out pizza dough and sprinkle the corn meal on one side. Flip the dough over and place it on a baking sheet, corn meal side down. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust becomes a light brown.
In the meantime pour the black beans and taco seasoning into a sauce pan over medium heat. Once the beans have warmed throughout mash them up using a potato masher and set aside.
Take pizza out of the oven and evenly spread over the bean mixture like you would a pizza sauce. Then top the entire pizza with cheese.
Place pizza back in the oven for 7 minutes or until all the cheese has melted and crust becomes a darker brown.
While the pizza is finishing baking, in a small bowl combine the sour cream and hot sauce then mix together. Place into a resealable bag and snip the corner edge off to make it easy to pipe over the pizza.
