Deep Dish Cheese Sausage Pizza

Ingredients
  Italian tomatoes 14 1⁄2 Ounce (3 cups drained)
  Pizza dough 1 Cup (16 tbs) (prepared as directed)
  Cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Imitation shredded mozzarella cheese 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Bean sausage 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Oregano leaves 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Fennel seeds 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Shredded parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (fancy)
Directions

Coarsely chop tomatoes; drain well and squeeze to remove excess moisture; reserve.

2. Grease one 14- × 2-inch (deep-dish) pizza pan or two 9- × 2-inch round cake pans; sprinkle with cornmeal.

3. On lightly floured surface, roll pizza dough to 16-inch circle to fit large pan or to two 12-inch circles to fit cake pans. Press dough into bottom and 1 1/2 inches up side of pan(s). Evenly sprinkle cheese in bottom of dough-lined pan(s). Crumble sausage over cheese.

4. Top with tomatoes, oregano, fennel and Parmesan cheese. Place pizza(s) in 500ºF oven; immediately reduce heat to 400ºF. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and sausage is cooked through. Remove from oven; cool on wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.

Makes 1 (14-inch) or 2 (9-inch) deep-dish pizzas
