Crustless Hamburger Pizza

Ingredients
  Ground chuck 1 Pound
  Quick cooking oats 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Canned tomato sauce 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Dried oregano leaves 1 Teaspoon
  Green pepper rings 4
  Canned mushroom stems and pieces 4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Shredded mozzarella cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine ground chuck, oats, onion, egg, salt and pepper in bowl.
Combine tomato sauce and oregano in another bowl.
Add one half of the tomato sauce mixture to the meat mixture.
Mix lightly, but well.
Pat meat mixture into 9" glass pie plate.
Top with green pepper rings.
Cover with waxed paper.
Microwave at high setting 8 minutes, or until meat is firm to the touch, rotating dish onequarter turn every 2 minutes.
Pour off excess fat from meat.
Remove green pepper rings; set aside.
Spread remaining tomato sauce mixture over meat.
Top with green pepper rings and mushrooms.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Microwave at high setting 1 minute, or until cheese is melted.
Let stand on wooden board or heatproof surface 5 minutes before serving.
