Skillet Pizza Steak
|Mozzarella cheese slice||6|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Dried oregano||1 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
Brown 2 or 3 steaks at a time in hot shortening, in skillet, for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
Turn: top each with cheese slice; brown second side.
Remove to platter.
Add remaining ingredients, 3/4 cup water, and dash pepper to skillet.
Boil 1 to 2 minutes.
Top meat with some sauce; pass remaining.
