Beefy Pizza Subs

Ingredients
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Sliced mushrooms 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Green bell pepper 1 , cut into thin strips
  Onion 1 Medium, cut into thin wedges
  Garlic clove 1 Large, minced
  Dried basil/Dried oregano 1 Teaspoon
  Red pepper flakes 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Thinly sliced cooked flank steak/6 ounce deli roast beef 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), cut into strips
  Pizza sauce/Tomato pasta sauce 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Crusty rolls 4 (8 Inch Length)
  Thinly sliced provolone cheese/Thinly sliced mozzarella cheese 6 Ounce (Mild Variety)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, green pepper, onion, garlic, basil and red pepper flakes; cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in beef and pizza sauce; cook until heated through. Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Cut rolls along 1 side and open; layer with cheese slices. Place on baking sheet under preheated broiler for 1 minute or until cheese melts. Watch carefully. Spoon beef mixture into rolls.
