Sardine Pizza Sandwiches
|Canned tomato paste||6 Ounce|
|Seasoned salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Oregano||1 Teaspoon, crushed|
|English muffins||4 Small, split and toasted|
|Shredded sharp cheddar cheese||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Canned sardines||3 3⁄4 Ounce, drained (Oil Reserved)|
|Green pepper strip||3|
Blend the tomato paste with the seasoned salt, garlic powder, and oregano.
Spread about 1 1/2 table spoons on each toasted muffin half.
Sprinkle cheese over the tomato spread and arrange about 3 sardines on each muffin half.
Place two green pepper strips crossing the sardines and place a pimiento strip between them.
Brush top with some of the reserved oil.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from source of heat about 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted
