Salad in a Pita
|Lettuce leaves/Spinach leaves||1 Cup (16 tbs), torn|
|Chopped cucumber||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Red onion slice||2 , separated into rings|
|Tomato||1 Small, chopped|
|Fat free ranch salad dressing||2 Tablespoon (2 Tablespoon)|
|Whole wheat pita bread||1 Large, halved crosswise|
|Alfalfa sprouts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Reduced fat cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), shredded|
1) Take a small bowl and combine together cucumber, lettuce, tomato, onion rings and salad dressing. Toss to coat evenly.
2) Fill each of the pockets with prepared vegetable mixture.
3) Top each pocket with half the sprouts and half the cheese.
