Plain Pitta

Ingredients
For plain pitla
  Gram flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onions 2 Small
  Garlic flakes 10 Gram
  Green chillies 4
  Coconut 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated
  Tamarind juice 2 Tablespoon
  Mustard seeds 1 Pinch
  Garam masala 1 Teaspoon
  Corriander leaves 1 Cup (16 tbs) (A Handful)
  Chilli powder To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1. In a grinder add onion, garlic, chillies and coconut. Grind to a coarse paste.
2. In a skillet heat 4 tablespoons ghee and toss mustard.
3. When seeds stop spluttering, add coconut paste and fry to almond colour.
4. Stir in gram flour and fry till red colour.
5. Pour 2 cups water, spices, salt and tamrind.
6. Cook and stir all the time till the mixture is thick and dry.

SERVING
7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
8. Serve with puries.
