Parmesan Pita Toasts

Ingredients
  Pita breads 4 (Each About 6 Inches In Diameter)
  Freshly grated parmesan cheese 2 Ounce (1/2 Cup, 60 Gram)
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon (For Brushing)
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Prepare a fire for direct-heat cooking in a grill .
Position the grill rack 4-6 inches (10-15 cm) above the fire.
Cut the pita breads in half and gently open the pita "pockets." Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the cheese inside each pocket, then press down firmly on the bread with your hand.
Brush both sides of each pita half with the olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt.
Arrange the pita halves on the rack.
Grill, turning two or three times, until the bread is lightly browned and the cheese has melted slightly, 4-5 minutes total.
To serve, cut each half into wedges and arrange on a serving dish.
