Cucumber Yogurt And Pita
|Plain yogurt||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Minced fresh dill/1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill weed||1 Tablespoon|
|White wine vinegar||2 Teaspoon|
|Cucumbers||2 , peeled, seeded and finely chopped|
Place all ingredients except cucumber and pita bread in bowl and mix well with fork or whisk.
Add cucumber and mix again.
Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
Serve chilled with toasted pita bread.
As a cucumber salad to accompany a spicy main course, slice cucumbers instead of chopping.
