Vegetarian Pita Sandwiches
|Alfalfa sprouts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shredded carrot||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped zucchini/Cucumber||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shelled sunflower seeds||2 Tablespoon|
|Creamy onion salad dressing||1 Tablespoon|
|Cheddar cheese slice||2|
|Pita bread round||1 , halved|
|Brick cheese slice||2|
1. In a small bowl, stir together alfalfa sprouts, carrot, zucchini or cucumber, sunflower seeds and onion dressing.
2. Place Cheddar-cheese slices inside pita-bread pockets, resting on flatter side of pocket. Top with sprout mixture, then brick-cheese slices. Place sandwiches on a paper-towel-lined plate. Microwave at 100% (high)45 to 60 seconds or until cheese begins to melt.
