Ingredients
  Apricot preserves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned seasoned tomato sauce 4 Ounce (Half Of 8 Ounce Can)
  Vinegar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cooking sherry 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Honey 2 Tablespoon
  Salad oil 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Grated fresh ginger root/0.25 teaspoon ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Frankfurters 2 Pound
  Canned pineapple slices 20 Ounce, drained (1 No.2 Can)
Directions

For the sauce, combine first 9 ingredients.
Score the frankfurters on the bias and broil slowly, turning and basting often with the sauce, till hot through and glazed.
Last few minutes grill pineapple rings: Place on grill; brush with basting sauce, broil and turn.
Brush again with sauce.
Heat remaining sauce to pass with franks.
Go with: a tossed salad.
