Rice Pilaf With Mushroom
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned chicken broth||13 3⁄4 Ounce|
|Mushroom stems and pieces||1 Can (10 oz) (Drained)|
|Cooked rice||1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)|
|Parsley flakes||1 Tablespoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Place butter, onion and celery in a 2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 3 to 5 minutes or until tender.
Stir in chicken broth and mushrooms.
Cover and microwave 5 to 6 minutes or until liquid comes to a boil.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and let stand 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed by the rice.
