Ham Pilaf Mold
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Basic molding rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Diced cooked ham||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cooked peas||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (English Peas)|
|Canned crushed unsweetened pineapple||8 Ounce, well drained|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground allspice||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
Combine onion mixture, hot rice, and remaining ingredients except lettuce, stirring until blended.
Pack into an oiled 5-cup mold; let stand 5 minutes.
Invert onto lettuce-lined serving plate.
