Pilaf

Ingredients
Fine noodles - ½ cup fine noodles, broken in pieces
Margarine or butter - 2 tbsp
Condensed chicken broth - 1 can (10 ¾ ounces)
Water - 1/3 cup
Raw regular rice - ½ cup
Directions

MAKING
1. Take a saucepan; melt butter and brown noodles in it. Stir the noodles during the cooking time.
2. Blend in condensed chicken broth, water and raw rice and boil the mixture by stirring at occasional intervals.
3. Cover and simmer for about 20 -25 minutes until the rice is cooked or the liquid is absorbed properly.

SERVING
4. Pilaf is best to be served with cucumber salad. Sometimes it is served after garnishing with caramelized onions.
