Mushrooms Pilaf

Ingredients
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion 1 Medium, finely chopped
  Dried mushrooms 6
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Consomme/Chicken broth 2 Can (20 oz)
  Butter cube 1⁄2
  Curry powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Basil 1 Pinch
  Thyme 1 Pinch
  Oregano 1 Pinch
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Soak mushrooms in hot water till soft

MAKING
2. In a large pan, heat the butter till melted
3. Add the rice and brown well
4. Add the onion and the garlic
5. Tip in the soaked mushrooms and cook well
6. Add seasonings to the rice
7. Then pour in ½ can water to each can of broth and add this to the rice
8. Cover the pan and steam on low heat till the water is absorbed and the rice is hot

SERVING
9. Serve hot with pickles
