Lentil And Grains Pilaf

Ingredients
  Water 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Margarine/Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Instant chicken bouillon granules 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Regular brown rice 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Wheat berries 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Dried savory 3⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed
  Dry lentils 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), drained, rinsed
  Snipped dried apricots/Raisins 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1. In a medium saucepan combine the water, margarine or butter, and bouillon granules; heat till margarine is melted. Stir in onion, uncooked brown rice, wheat berries, and savory. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
2. Stir the lentils into the mixture in the saucepan. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, about 30 minutes more or till rice, wheat berries, and lentils are tender. Drain off excess liquid. Stir in apricots or raisins. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
