Rice Pilaf with Fresh Mushrooms
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Regular long grain rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Au jus gravy mix||3⁄4 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Oregano leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Melt butter in a 2 quart dutch oven.
Cook onion, mushrooms, and rice in butter 4-5 minutes.
Stir until rice is golden brown.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir to dissolve gravy mix.
Cover and bake in 350 degree oven 40 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.
