Simple Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
  Long grain rice 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (uncooked)
  Fresh onion/Frozen onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finely chopped
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Chicken broth 13 3⁄4 Ounce
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

In a 10-inch skillet cook rice and chopped onion in butter or margarine until rice is golden, stirring often.
Add chicken broth, water, and salt.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer till rice is tender, about 15 minutes.
Fluff up with a fork.
