Microwave Rice Pilaf
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry chicken noodle soup mix||1 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
1. Combine butter, onion and celery in 2-quart glass casserole.
2. Microwave on ROAST for about 5 minutes or until onions and celery are partly cooked. Stir in remaining ingredients, except rice; mix well. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
