|Butter||8 Teaspoon, divided (1/3 Cube, 2 Tablespoons Plus 2 Teaspoons)|
|Chicken consomme||1 Can (10 oz), add water to make 2 cups|
|Onion||1 Teaspoon, minced|
|Uncooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Uncle Ben's Par-Boiled Rice Works Well)|
In a 2-quart sauce pan, melt butter.
Add consomme with water, onions, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Bring to a boil and add rice and stir once.
Cover and simmer slowly for 25 minutes.
