Warm Rice Pilaf has always elicited compliments from my honest heart ! Try this savory rice with peas, seasoned with onion soup and pepper ! Your heart will also start complimenting this Rice Pilaf ! Let me know if your thoughts are in tune with mine !
|Long grain rice||1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked|
|Cooking oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry onion soup mix||2 Tablespoon|
|Boiling water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Frozen peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a large skillet, brown rice in oil, stirring constantly.
Blend in soup mix and pepper.
Stir in water; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Stir in peas.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes
