Fruited Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Uncooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Tomato 1 Medium, chopped
  Minced dried apples 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Minced dried apricots 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Green onions 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), sliced
  Seasoned salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder with parsley 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sliced almonds 3 Tablespoon
Directions

In 2-quart saucepan, bring water to a boil; add rice and butter.
Return to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients except almonds; cook 5 to 10 minutes longer or until rice is tender.
Stir in almonds.
Garnish with apple slices and celery leaves, if desired.
