Fruited Rice Pilaf
|Water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Uncooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomato||1 Medium, chopped|
|Minced dried apples||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Minced dried apricots||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), sliced|
|Seasoned salt||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder with parsley||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Sliced almonds||3 Tablespoon|
In 2-quart saucepan, bring water to a boil; add rice and butter.
Return to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients except almonds; cook 5 to 10 minutes longer or until rice is tender.
Stir in almonds.
Garnish with apple slices and celery leaves, if desired.
