Rice Pilaf With Tomato Paste
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Tomato paste||1 Tablespoon|
|Raw rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Bring water to a boil, salt, and stir in tomato paste, if desired.
Add rice and cook for about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Cover rice with a linen towel to absorb excess moisture.
Melt butter until it bubbles and pour over the rice.
Toss rice with a fork to mix butter evenly.
