Chicken Pilaf

Ingredients
  Cooked chicken 1 Pound
  Long grain rice 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1 Large
  Stock 1 Pint
  Olive oil/Melted butter 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped basil 1 Tablespoon
  Fresh peas 1⁄4 Pound
  Cheese 2 Ounce
  Seasoning To Taste
Directions

Put rice, onion, herbs and peas to simmer in the stock.
They should take about 15 minutes to cook.
Remove from heat.
Now stir in chopped chicken, salt and pepper to taste and the oil or butter.
Blend well, and put into a fireproof dish.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top, and bake for about 15 minutes in a moderate oven.
