Choco Ice Cream Pie
|Chocolate sandwich cookies||18|
|Melted butter||1 Tablespoon|
|Peppermint ice cream||2 Quart|
|Bitter chocolate square||2|
|Evaporated milk||7 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Small Can)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Pint|
Roll out cookies; add enough melted butter to hold.
Butter 9 x 2 1/2 inch deep pie pan.
Press cookie mixture onto bottom and sides of pan.
Bake at 350Â°F 8 minutes; cool completely.
Soften and stir ice cream; put into crust; freeze.
Mix chocolate, milk, butter, and sugar in double boiler; cook until thickened.
Pour over ice cream; freeze.
Top with whipped cream, and chocolate shavings, if desired.
Take out of freezer long enough to soften a bit before slicing.
