Shaker Sugar Pie

If your sweet tooth is craving for something reall sweet, this Shaker Sugar Pie can sure satiate your desire! Yes, a distant variant of the traditional French sugar pie, this Shaker Sugar Pie is a fine amalgum of all desirable ingredients in vanilla flavoring. Needless to say, it is easy to make too, so give it a try!
Ingredients
  Unbaked 9 inch pie shell 1
  Firmly packed light brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg To Taste (Few Grains)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
Directions

Prick pie shell and bake at 450°F 5 minutes.
Set aside.
Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.2.
Mix the brown sugar with flour until blended.
Spoon over bottom of partially baked pie shell.
Combine the cream, extract, and nutmeg; pour over sugar in pie shell.
Dot with the butter.
Bake at 350°F about 55 minutes, or until crust is lightly browned and filling is set.
