|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lime juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated lime peel||1 Tablespoon|
|Green food coloring||2 Drop|
|Chocolate ice cream||1 Pint, softened|
|Chocolate cookie crumb crust||1 , baked (10 Inch)|
|Grated unsweetened chocolate||4 Tablespoon|
Beat eggs and sugar until thick and piled softly.
Stir in cream and lime juice and peel until well blended; tint pale green with food coloring.
Turn into refrigerator tray; freeze until mushlike in consistency.
Beat until smooth and return to refrigerator tray.
Freeze until almost firm.
Spread ice cream over bottom of pie shell; spoon lime mixture over ice cream.
Garnish top of pie with grated chocolate.
Freeze until firm.
